About Us

Locally Owned - Community Centered

Family owned and locally operated for over 33 years, CPL is the largest liquor store in Steamboat Springs. We stock 4,000+ types of liquor, beer and wine, including a huge array of Colorado craft beer and spirits. Our staff are your neighbors and we uphold what's best for Steamboat by being involved and committed to our community.  The CPL family numbers more than 25 employees. Together, we are actively involved in the neighborhood, supporting numerous local charities and the local business community.

Our Model

“Our model is based on having the largest selection in the Rocky Mountain area,” says co-owner Greg Nealy, whose store carries 2,400 varieties of wine and more than 450 kinds of beer. “Our motto is to have everything people want all the time at the guaranteed lowest prices.”

CPL boasts the longest "Best of Steamboat" 1st place winning, voted on by the locals for 8+ years running.  Our store offers 9,600 square feet of wine, beer and spirits, with something for everyone who walks through its doors.

History

Central Park Liquor of Steamboat was established in 1986 and has been serving the Yampa Valley ever since. CPL humbly started with a 2400 sq. ft. store and has grown to over 9600 sq. ft. today and offers the largest selection of wines, spirits and beer in Northwest Colorado!

CPL is also proud to offer unparalleled customer service with a management group that has been involved with the store for over 20 years. Central Park Liquor's success can be attributed to the ownership group overseeing daily operations and are all Steamboat residents, taking pride in making CPL a top business.

Our staff also provides professional advice on all types of events, small to large and specializes in wedding events with customized spreadsheets to expedite your special day smoothly.
